Rich: Investing According to Jesus (Week 2)
Summary: What can a dishonest man teach us about how we use money? Jesus gives us an unusual parable in Luke 16 to help us address this question and examine the role of possessions in our life.
Scripture: Luke 16:1-13
Series Description: Jesus has a lot to say about money and about what it means to be “rich” — or better yet, he tells us toward whom we should be rich. (Spoiler Alert: It’s God.) Jesus seems to talk about money in terms of investing, encouraging us to "lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” So what if we asked ourselves a simple question: What am I investing in?
